Business Development Manager

Based in North Belfast

37.5 hrs per week - Reasonable hours outside of this may be required to fulfil the duties of this position

£35k pa plus 7% E’er pension – after 6 months an agreed sale bonus process will be implemented.

 Job Background

The post holder will be required to develop a sustainable and commercially viable social enterprise – which delivers mental health and wellbeing services (including corporate counselling, Employee Assistance Programmes, and a variety of wellbeing training services)

They will work alongside an administrative assistant to ensure that marketing opportunities are identified and followed through and that tenders are secured. The post-holder must therefore have a proven track record and strong understanding of business development, the ability to recognise opportunities, along with the skills to provide detailed business cases and reports and the motivation and determination to implement new ideas. This position is funded through the Ethical Development Trust North, a programme of The Executive Office aimed at supporting business ready social enterprises.
