This is not an average job..it’s an exciting opportunity to be involved in the creation and delivery of Milesian Manor’s new service offering while engaging with the local community. Based in Milesian Manor, Magherafelt, but will also involve local travel

 20 - 40 hours per week (flexible working hours)

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders in the local community.

  • Generate referrals by meeting and developing relationships with external stakeholders including the local community, educational institutes, healthcare professionals and other organisations that care for the elderly. 

  • Manage enquiries from generation.

  • Capture accurate resident data and input to CRM system.

  • Manage the delivery of an exceptional show round experience of the entire Home.

  • Engage and manage volunteers within the Home who provide social activities.

  • Engage with carers in the community to provide training/support events.

  • Work with the Lifestyle Team to develop and manage an activities and events calendar for residents and the community.

  • Identify opportunities to connect the Home with the local community, hosting events in the Home as well as organising fundraising activities and supporting intergenerational projects.

  • Produce reports and other management information to monitor trends and plan ahead.

  • Engage with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan.

  • To be proactive in researching ideas and best practice to continue to improve the Home.

  • Understand the competitor landscape to ensure the Home maintains its competitive advantage and to identify gaps in the market.

  • Act as an ambassador for Milesian Manor and represent the Home at local and community events. 

  • To perform related duties and specific projects as assigned by Management to contribute to the overall aims of The Macklin Group. 

    The nature of the job will change as the needs of The Macklin Group develop. This will require a considerable degree of commitment, flexibility and adaptability of the successful candidate.
