Area Housing Manager

The Area Housing Manager will have full responsibility for performance in all aspects of the Housing Management Service within their area.  They will make efficient and effective use of all staff and resources at their disposal and will report to the Director of Housing on performance by the achievement of agreed annual objectives.  This will include monitoring of performance of Housing staff in relation to identified key performance indicators to ensure that all agreed objectives are met.

Based at: Fold House, 3 Redburn Square, Holywood,BT18 9HZ

Position Reference: AHM.HM.05

Hours: 37 hours per week

Essential Criteria:

• Effective leadership skills and experience of managing staff and developing initiatives to develop and motivate staff.
• Knowledge of performance management  and a focus on managing performance to achieve organisational targets.
• Highly developed communication skills with experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
• Experience of and commitment to delivering customer services and ensuring they are delivered to a high quality .
• A minimum of 3 years experience (gained in the last 5 years) of the full range of housing management services.
• Hold a valid full driving license with access to car or suitable means of transport to meet the mobility requirements of the post.
