Responsible for the delivery of a protected area management service to the Antrim Coast & Glens AONB, the Causeway Coast AONB, the Binevenagh AONB and the Giant’s Causeway and Causeway Coast WHS

AONB/WHS Manager

Salary: NJC scale range PO1, SCP 33-36 (£27,849 – £30,011)

Full time post, temporary to 31st March 2013 with potential for the post to be extended.

 The Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust wishes to appoint an AONB/WHS Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of a protected area management service to the Antrim Coast & Glens AONB, the Causeway Coast AONB, the Binevenagh AONB and the Giant’s Causeway and Causeway Coast WHS

 Applicants must have:

  1. Either At least four years relevant experience in working within multi-disciplinary management in protected landscapes, or a similar area of work, at a strategic and operational level,
    Or A third level qualification in a relevant field and at least 2 years relevant experience working within multi-disciplinary management in protected landscapes, or a similar area of work, at a strategic and operational level
  2. At least one year experience of working with partnerships and key individuals in a wider range of organisations is essential and Proven experience of developing and managing projects
