After-School Manager

On behalf of Club4up we are seeking to recruit an After-School Manager on a Part-time permanent basis. 

Work Time: Monday-Friday 2pm-5.30pm plus 1 hour a week snack planning

Salary: £10 per hour

Reports to: Director

Roles and Responsibilities

• Continuous promotion of high standards of quality within the after-school’s unit
• Develop and facilitate relationships with parents, family members and community links
• Lead a team of childcarers as well as plan and organise workload
• Lead in the implementation of relevant play opportunities
• Ensure that all children are kept safe and that all staff understand the safeguarding procedures
• Oversee the nutritional needs of the children
• Ensure food safety regulations are complied with

Essential Criteria

• Aged 18 and over
• Level 5 qualification in childcare or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar setting or a primary school
• Must be flexible
• Good communication skills-both verbal and written
• Good use of ICT and Technology
• A good understanding of Health and Safety legalisation

Desirable Criteria

• Child Protection Certificate
• Designated Officer trained
• Paediatric First Aid
• Basic Food & hygiene certificate
