Paper Trail (Legacy Archive Research) is inviting applications for the role of Advocacy Support Worker.

This project (funded through PEACE IV) offers support, advocacy and advice in relation to Truth, Justice and Acknowledgement to families bereaved as a result of the Conflict/Troubles.  The post holder will be required to support, advocate on behalf of, and advise families who wish to engage with statutory and other bodies in respect of their bereavement.

The applicant must have relevant experience, together with a sound working knowledge of human rights institutions and the roles of statutory/non-statutory bodies pertinent for the work.

This post will require travel within and beyond the north of Ireland.

Location: Based in Belfast with travel throughout the north of Ireland.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week with occasional evening, overnight and weekend work as required.

The closing date for this post is Monday 22nd May 2017 at 12 noon.

This project is supported by the EU's Peace IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body. It is a fixed term position until March 2021, subject to funding.
