Administrative Officer/Receptionist

The British Red Cross helps vulnerable people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.

The postholder will be responsible for providing an efficient and reliable service to staff and volunteers and undertake a range fo duties which will include direct support to the Area Administration Manager and Operations Director.  You will assist in financial processess including petty caash disbursements, bank lodgements and full requisitioning, whilst ensuring procedures are adhered to and carried out in a timely manner.

With proven experience in a similar role, you must be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent by experience along with experience of financial procedures.  Organisation and communication skills are essential as are IT skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
