The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff member:

 

Administration Assistant                                     Ref:    17/127/AA-JW/WEB

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support at Johnston Way, a Supported Living scheme for people who have Learning Disabilities.

 

Hours:                        30 hours per week

Salary:                        3 point incremental scale (paid pro rata) starting on:

                                   Point 1: £15,375

Point 2: £15,613

Point 3: £15,807

 

Contract:                    Permanent

 

Location:                    Supported Living services, Johnston Way, Lisburn

 

Essential criteria:                 

  • ·         Maths and English GCSE at Grade A-C (or equivalent)
  • ·         1 years’ experience in an administration environment
  • ·         NVQ 2 in Administration or other relevant qualification at this level
  • ·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • ·         An appreciation of the needs of people who have disabilities

Desirable criteria:

  • ·         Have worked within an environment providing services to people with a Learning Disability for 2 years within the past 3 years
  • ·         An understanding of the regulatory bodies.
