Local Strategy Partnerships (LSPs) have been part of the Northern Ireland landscape since 2000 evolving from the District Partnership model (PEACE I: 1995-1999). As Northern Ireland enters into one of the most complex and radical change programmes ever undertaken, what place will LSPs have?

An action plan produced by the Office of the Third Sector into how government can partner with voluntary organisations to deliver public services.

This month sees good news on the anti-poverty front with the government's commitment to a new strategy that aims to eradicate poverty by the year 2020.

The Compact formalises the Government's relationship to the voluntary and community sector. Signed by Tony Blair MP, Marjorie Mowlam MP and Jacqueline Irwin, Chair of NICVA at the time of the publication.
