The guide outlines a number of quick and easy steps that funders can take to ensure that funding is invested wisely and help them learn how to assess the organisational capacity of the VCOs they work with.
The Workforce Hub and Governance Hub are calling for funders to develop a greater understanding of the importance of funding governance, planning and human resources, so that they can use their finances wisely and that the organisations they fund are equipped to effectively deliver the services or projects.
To meet this guide has been commissioned by ACF, UK Workforce Hub and Governance Hub to help funders to assess whether the charities they fund are fit for purpose, and how to fund workforce and governance development effectively.
