This month's roundup

March brings big news on policy, with NICVA consulting on its latest Manifesto for the sector. It's your chance to put forward the issues that concern you most, so your input is vital. We are also conducting our latest members' survey, to capture your thoughts about NICVA, with the added incentive of a chance to win a laptop. Another big question is about the impact of Positive Steps - has it had any effect on your organisation? Our online survey aims to find out.

Everything you ever wanted to know about policy but were afraid to ask is a great series of upcoming seminars aiming to give you tips and skills to understand and influence government policy. One consultation with a major impact on the future is the draft Education Reform Order. We only have until 7 March 2006 to make our views on the future of education known, and NICVA is hosting a briefing to contribute to the debate.

On the training front, NICVA's Outreach programme is well under way, bringing funding and charity advice training to a venue near you, while the next Members' Information Day has some fantastic workshops to make finance and human resources issues easier to deal with.

Finally, your suggestions for Peace III priorities are being asked for at a series of seminars, while the funding pages as usual bring a wealth of information including news of new funding programmes.
