Lord Rooker has promised that the government's new draft of the anti-poverty strategy will be published very soon.

Meanwhile on the global front the Make Poverty History campaign has officially dissolved but the campaign for a fair system of world trade, the cancellation of debt for the poorest countries and greatly increased aid goes on.
