EU survey shows good practice

As a result of President Barroso’s visit to the NI Assembly in May 2007, the European Commission established a special taskforce on Northern Ireland. The taskforce - made up of key EC officials and their Northern Ireland counterparts - is currently examining the extent to which Northern Ireland has been involved in EU programmes and policies and identifying examples of best practice.

Developing Managers Programme recruiting

The Developing Managers Programme (DMP) was launched in 1995 in response to a demand from business for a management development initiative targeted specifically at middle/aspiring senior managers. Since then some 19 programmes have since taken place. In this time, more than 300 managers have participated, with the programme having received a Regional Training Award for excellence.
