Search is on for Commissioners

The legislation necessary to create a Charity Commission for Northern Ireland passed through its final stage in the Assembly on Monday 30 June. Now the Bill approved the search is on for NI first Charity Commissioners.

The ONUS is on all of us.

The launch on 29 April, 10.30–12.30pm at the Ecos Centre, Ballymena will debate the growing acknowledgement of the vital role that the voluntary and community sector plays in the provision of services. It will question whether the third sector has grown sufficiently to demonstrate the high standards of professionalism in its leadership, organisation and service delivery necessary to compete in a changing environment.
