Minister for Culture, Arts and Leisure, Edwin Poots, MLA and the Chairman of the Ulster-Scots Agency Mark Thompson have met to discuss the increased funding in the budget for the Ulster Scots Agency.

Many voluntary and community organisations are currently negotiating contracts and grants for the forthcoming year. Positive Steps and HM Treasury Guidance spells out government's position of Full Cost Recovery.

The HM Revenue and Customs has guidance on its website regarding the rules for benefits as a result of gift aid donations. The benefits rules changed from 6 April 2007.
