Fermanagh Women's Network will host the next women's policy forum meeting on Thursday 18 September at 10.30am in Fermanagh House, Enniskillen. The network has been working on a Gender Equality project for the county and will be presenting on this work to forum members.
The forum aims to meet 3-4 times a year, usually holding one forum outside Belfast. Attendance is open to everyone with an interest in women's policy issues. September's forum is particularly ideal if your organisation is interested in women's policy issues and is based closer to the Fermanagh area rather than Belfast.
Meetings are chaired by Margaret Ward from the Women's Resource and Development Agency. The forum aims to enhance the capacity of women's organisations to make policy responses, coordinate policy information, participate in policy development, and influence decision making.
