Eileen Sung, Head of Gender and Sexual Orientation Equality Unit within the Social Inclusion Team, Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister, will be the guest speaker at the women's policy forum on Tuesday 22 April in NICVA at 10.30am.
The women's policy forum is chaired by Margaret Ward from the Women's Resource and Development Agency. NICVA facilitates a range of themed policy groups - specially designed to help people understand and engage with policy issues that are relevant to their organisation.
The forum meets on average four times a year and its aim is 'To enhance the capacity of the women's sector to make policy responses and participate in policy development'.
Membership of the forum is drawn from across the voluntary and community sector and is open to any organisation with an interest in women's policy issues.
