Extern seeks board members

Extern, founded in 1978, is a charity working with partners providing high quality innovative and community based services for people who have complex needs. It works directly with children and their families and adults throughout Ireland. It has headquarters in Mallusk, Co Antrim and Kill, Co. Kildare.

About Extern

Extern is first and foremost a service providing organisation. The positive outcomes of our service delivery are felt by the recipients and all our partners, who include the criminal justice, health, social services, housing, education and employment sectors.

Extern is seeking to increase the membership of its board in order to meet the demands of its expanding remit. Could you bring strategic vision and sound judgement to the deliberations of the board? Have you skills and enthusiasm that would assist the organisation at this exciting time in its development?

We would welcome applications from people concerned for the future of some of the more vulnerable people in our society. We would like to know about your experience, interests and particular areas of expertise.

Whilst these positions are unpaid, out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
