The Taskforce on Active Citizenship wishes to receive as wide a range of views relating to the extent to which people in Ireland play an active role as member of their communities and society and to identify trends in the level and nature of active citizenship in different areas of Irish life.
With that in mind, the Taskforce hosted a number of regional seminars in Dublin, Monaghan, Sligo, Cork and Tullamore. It was agreed that an extra seminar would be held in Dublin in the evening to facilitate the attendence of those volunteers who could not make the morning seminar.
The extra consultation seminar is being held between 7-9pm, on Wednesday 11th October 2006 in the Gresham Hotel in Dublin. Please reply by email to info@activecitizen.ie to confirm your attendence and include your name, address, organisation and contact telephone number.
