South Belfast man Alan Bell recently received an MBE for all his voluntary work raising over £100,000 for local charities over the last 10 years.

South Belfast man Mr Alan Bell with his MBE which he received from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace recently.

Alan was rewarded for all his voluntary work raising over £100,000 for local charities over the last 10 years. In particular, Alan has raised over £20,000 for disability charity The Cedar Foundation, who nominated him for the award, collecting at flag days and supermarket collections.
