An exciting new project representing the diversity of culture in Portadown has been launched this week.
The scheme, which intends to bring together numerous communities within the town, will take the form of a series of workshops, each focussing on a different art form. The individual projects will culminate in a final exhibition next spring. Funded by the Department of Culture, Arts and Learning, this is a great opportunity to explore the wealth and variety of creativity and talent in the area.
Patricia Cooke, director of CNC states “this is an exciting opening to showcase the talents of local people and an excellent opportunity for groups to develop their creativity while exploring other cultures. We are so looking forward to the outcomes of this project.”
Community Network Craigavon invites artists and community groups from the area who are interested tp participate in the project.
