Institute of Fundraising Awards to recognise the contribution made by professional and volunteer fundraisers in Northern Ireland
Every year in Northern Ireland, fundraisers raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities and good causes. In a bid to formally recognise the tremendous contribution made both by professional and volunteer fundraisers The Institute of Fundraising, Northern Ireland has launched its fundraising awards for 2006.
This year there is an award category for Volunteer Fundraiser of The Year and Fundraising Event or Campaign of the Year. Nominations are welcome from professional fundraisers and individuals and groups working in a voluntary capacity. The deadline for entries is 5.00pm on Thursday 25 May 2006
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at The Institute of Fundraising Northern Ireland Convention at the Ramada Hotel, Belfast, on Thursday 29 June 2006.
The Judges include: Una McKernan (NICVA) – Chair of Judging Panel, Brenda Buckley (Business Eye), Sandara Kelso Robb, (Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland) Sarah Young (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) Joanne McDowell (Big Lottery Fund) and Lindsay Boswell (Institute Of Fundraising).
