Banbridge Enterprise Centre, located at Scarva Road Industrial Estate, Banbridge, is holding a number of exciting courses in August for people interested in learning new skills and enhancing existing skills in IT and photography in a friendly and relaxed environment.
If you are seeking the perfect introduction to computers, the IT for the Petrified Stage I course is ideal. This course introduces you to computers, Microsoft Word, Internet and Email. The course consists of six weeks of training and commences on Wednesday 13th August, classes 7.00pm-9.00pm each week, cost of course is £50 per person.
For photography enthusiasts our Stage II Photoshop course with professional photographer Eddie Byrne commences on Tuesday 5th August and runs for four weeks, 6.30pm-8.30pm at a cost of £45 per person. This course offers participants a great opportunity to learn from a professional in a practical and relaxed environment. Topics include shooting in RAW format, creating montages and working with black and white images. This course is suitable for those who have attended our Stage I Photoshop course or for those who have some knowledge of Photoshop but would like a greater understanding of the programme.
If you are new to photography and want to build your confidence in digital photography our one day intensive session in Creative Digital Photography with Brian Rooney might be the ideal starting point. We are holding a practical one day session on Thursday 21st August, 9.30am-4.30pm covering topics such as camera operation, using inkjet printers to produce your images, organising your images and editing. Participants will leave the training session with a fresh new approach to the exciting and rewarding subject that is photography. Cost is £50 per person.
For individuals and businesses interested in Sage we are holding Sage Accounts – The Basics in August. This is the perfect introduction to the financial management software offering participants a comprehensive overview of the most recent version of Sage. Topics covered include sales ledger, purchase ledger, nominal ledger, invoicing, bank accounts and VAT returns. John Palmer, author of Sage Accounts ... an Introduction is tutoring this course which runs for four weeks, commencing Thursday 7th August, 6.30pm-9.30pm. Cost is £99 per person.
