Jameson short film competition

Jameson Belfast Film Festival is seeking 7 groups to take part in a short film competition called Movieoke. Groups must have between 4 and 8 members aged 21 or over and will make their own 1 minute film based on or parodying a famous film scene. Each member of the winning group can win a prize!

As part of the Belfast Film Festival this year, Jameson is sponsoring a new competition for aspiring film makers, called Movieoke which is open to anyone over 21.

As part of the competition Belfast Film Festival in association with Arts and Business are seeking 7 groups from the voluntary and community sector with members aged 21 and over from the Belfast and Greater Belfast area.

Each group will make their own 1 minute version of a famous film scene after 2 training and filming workshops with a professional film maker.

The competition will give each group the opportunity to learn how to make a short film, have their film shown on the Movieoke website and be in with a chance to win a years' subscription to LoveFilm.com and a DVD player each.

The approximate time commitment for each group will be two 3-hour sessions between end of February and end of March.
