Docu Debut is an innovative documentary commissioning fund. It gives under 18 year olds the funding, production assistance and distribution outlets for hard-hitting documentaries.
Commissions will be awarded to different, interesting and challenging stories told from a new perspective. We're looking for competent and capable visual storytellers, who will exploit unrivalled access to producer/director professionals, to create cutting-edge documentaries.
The media is an integral part of our society; to educate us, shape our opinions, inform us and reflect the world around us. Instead of letting the media talk for you, why don't you do the talking? Use film as a medium to get across what you think. Use documentary to get across what you see.
