Shopmobility Belfast in partnership with The Royal Hospital Group has launched a new free service for people with mobility problems attending appointments @ The Royal.

Life has been made easier for everyone with limited mobility who have got a medical appointment because Shopmobility Belfast has just introduced co-operation with Royal Victoria Hospitals.
As a result it pledges to provide free of charge electric scooters and manual wheelchairs to patients and visitors with limited mobility. It enables them to use the hospitals’ facilities with greater freedom and independence.
The service is free and available from Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm. The Shopmobility Unit is located beside the disabled car parking spaces situated at the ground floor of the visitors’ car park close to the School of Dentistry.
It is near to lifts which offer access to various sites throughout The Royal Hospitals. To use the equipment all you need to do is bring either your appointment letter or photographic ID with you.

Shopmobility Belfast relies on the valuable help volunteers give to the service and with extension plans of our Mobile Unit @ The Royal new volunteers are required.
