Lads2Dads is an accredited programme offerring support, information and advice to young fathers aged 16-25 in North and West Belfast.
Lads 2 Dads is a unique programme running in North and West Belfast, designed to support and develop young men (aged 16-25yrs) in fatherhood. The programme looks at different aspects of fatherhood including:
In addition, Lads2Dads also offers young fathers the opportunity to meet and network with other young men in a similar situation.
Lads2Dads is open to biological fathers, step-fathers, pre-fathers and father figures - so if you, or a young person you know, are interested please contact Cieran at Opportunity Youth for a refferral form.
The course runs over a 12 week period, every Thursday evening from 7-8.30pm. There is currently a group running in the Blackie Centre, Beechmount, Belfast. However other venues and times can be arranged to suit the needs of the group, so please contact Opportunity Youth to see what we can offer.
Lads2Dads is now an accredited OCN Entry Level Three qualification.
