Get RaW with the BBC

RaW is the BBC's largest reading and writing campaign and aims to 'bring life to words' for thousands of reluctant readers.

RaW is a three year campaign to improve the basic skills of adult learners by creating a fun and interactive learning space based on everyday, practical experiences.

Phase two of the campaign launches on World Book Day on 2 March. The emphasis will be on encouraging adults and their families to get more out of reading and writing through their interests.

To make this happen the BBC wants to create a network of RaW Centres across Northern Ireland. These can range from community centres, leisure centres, football clubs and pubs to schools libraries, prisons, coffee shops, cafes – anywhere that is a focal point of a community. Take your club events and make them RaW events!
