Our relationship with SuperValu is so much more than a sponsorship, it’s a real partnership. The support provided for our Mobile Detection Service really is what keeps it on the road, saving lives.
SuperValu not only sponsors the service, retailers and their staff fundraise for it and promote it in their stores. The Mobile Service visits stores throughout the year, with SuperValu encouraging staff and customers to make appointments. In addition, SuperValu also provides dedicated marketing support to raise awareness of the Service.
Being able to nominate SuperValu for the NICVA Link Award was a wonderful way of being able to say thank you in a very public manner. Winning the Overall Award was also an acknowledgement of all their hard work fundraising for and promoting our service across Northern Ireland.
The media coverage generated by the Award also allowed us to further raise awareness of SuperValu’s support for Action Cancer, and the Mobile Service itself.
In terms of Action Cancer, there is no doubt that it also allows us to showcase our ability to manage such partnerships as a charity and increases our potential to do business with the corporate market.
