Link between grass roots activity and government policy says Durkan.
Deputy First Minister, Mark Durkan, highlighted the link between the vital work done on the ground by voluntary and community organisations and the formation of government policy as he gave the key note address at NICVA's AGM today (Wednesday 4 September, 10.00 am at 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast). Mr Durkan then visited Groundwork environmental projects in East Belfast to see some of the work in action.
