The Queen's University Human Rights Centre is delighted to announce three bursaries of 500 pounds each to be awarded on the basis of an essay competition. The competition is open only to students who apply successfully to one of the QUB Human Rights LLM programmes in the School of Law.
Any candidate for one of these Bursaries may apply by submitting a one thousand word essay on the topic of “The most serious challenge to Human Rights in the Twenty-First Century”. The Bursaries will be awarded by the Centre to the authors of the three best essays, judged on the basis of originality and critical insight.
The essay should be delivered by email to
humanrights@qub.ac.uk before April 1 2007. Students who receive any other Scholarship from the School of Law will not be eligible to receive the Bursary. The Bursary will be paid to the successful student upon full registration at Queen’s in September.
