The Gathering Drum is a new venture by Joe Loughlin that aims to let anyone who wants to share their spirit of rhythm and fun do just that!

Integration day at Hazlewood College.

Drum circles have been used around the world for decades to bring new energy, learning, fun and team spirit into groups all all shapes and sizes.

Joe Loughlin, a qualified youth worker and drum facilitator, has now launched his own business to bring these activities to schools, youth clubs, churches and any group that wishes to do something different and unforgettable.

Using African, local and world drums and percussion instruments, The Gathering Drum help groups create their own unique, "in the moment" music with supportive facilitation techniques.

Current and past user groups include: Contact Youth, The Memorial fund, Caring Breaks, The Down Syndrome Association, WAVE, The Ulster Wildlife Trust, as well as dozens of youth agencies and schools.

For booking information, how drum circles work and how they could help build stronger groups within your own organistions, go to www.thegatheringdrum.com.

With over 300 drums and instruments to play with, this is an exhilarating and high impact event you will not forget!

Happy drumming!
