Cross border health consultation
On behalf of the Departments of Health, Co-operation and Working Together (CAWT), the cross border health services partnership is planning its programme of work for the 2007-2013 period. The CAWT partnership comprises the Health Service Executive, the WHSSB, the SHSSB and the Western and Southern Health and Social Care Trusts. On behalf of the partners, CAWT is facilitating the process of securing EU INTERREG IV funding for large scale cross border health and social care projects. As part of the process CAWT has engaged with Health Service Managers and Planners to review Government and Health Service policy and priorities on both sides of the border. We now wish to seek your views and input into on the process.
Voluntary and community opinion sought
The voluntary and community sector has a key role in determining the planning and delivery of Health Services at a local level. CAWT wish to seek your opinions on the proposals outlined in the following questionnaire and to determine your support for cross border health and social care activity.
The proposals have been categorised into five strategic themes; Acute Hospital Services, Primary, Continuing and Community Care, Mental Health, Population Health and Disability for which funding will be sought from the EU INTERREG IV programme.
