B&Q is pleased to announce that the all-new ‘One Planet Living’ (OPL) Awards for 2008 are now open for applications!
Is there an environmental group, community organisation, school, charity or sports club in your area that could be transformed with an award of between £1,000/€1,500 and £10,000/€15,000 of B&Q products?
The ‘One Planet Living’ Awards support B&Q’s progressive new partnership with environmental impact experts BioRegional which aims to help B&Q reduce its ecological footprint and help their customers do the same.
The B&Q awards will help regenerate local areas and will support environment/energy saving, natural habitats/wildlife and local culture/heritage projects.
In addition, B&Q is offering two awards of £5,000 combined cash/product to schools who submit innovative science-based proposals, showing a real understanding about the environment and the importance of tackling climate change.
Apply for an award between Monday 28th January and Friday 28th March 2008 by downloading the application form or by calling the 24 hour application hotline on 0845 300 1001.
