WEA E-business Officer Paul Gilpin explains,
"The goal of the new interactive WEA website is to place our users at the centre of the WEA. The new site is specifically designed around the needs of its users - namely learners, tutors and learning centres.
"Visitors to the new website will find loads of improved features including a calendar of WEA events, an improved course search function, the ability to resize text and screen size, a photo gallery where our students’ creative work is showcased and the ability for visitors to donate financially to ensure the continued success of the WEA."
Director Stevie Johnston comments,
"We hope that our visitors enjoy the new site and that it meets their needs. As a listening, learning organisation we will take on board any feedback from users on the new site and an online feedback form has been designed with that in mind – please use it to let us know what you think so we can continue to improve the website."
Visit www.wea-ni.com from Monday 1 October to see how we’ve put you right at the heart of the WEA.
