The programme encourages people to get involved with European issues and build links with people in other countries.
Applicants for this programme now have until February 6th 2006 to submit applications for funding under the EU action programme to support organisations working to build European citizenship. The European Commission has extended the original deadline from 30 December 2005.
The programme encourages people to get involved with European issues and build links with people in other countries. Organisations can apply for the funding to co-finance their annual work programmes.
The annual work programme should cover among others at least three (3) of the following specific objectives:
To be eligible to apply for the funding, organisations must be non-profit making in either the public or private sectors and based in one of the 25 EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Romania or Bulgaria.
