The Council has now drawn up a set of recommendations on which it is seeking comments.
The Youth Council for NI commissioned a Review of Funding in 2006, which was carried out by Williamson Consulting during last Summer and Autumn.
YCNI has now drawn up a series of recommendations for the future based on the findings in the review. Williamson Consulting has been commissioned to undertake further consultation in relation to these recommendations to ensure that all stakeholder views are understood.
To this end, a series of consultation sessions have been organised for representatives from Regional Voluntary Youth Organisations:
Consultation sessions will be facilitated by Williamson Consulting and coffee/tea will be provided.
A summary of the review along with YCNI's recommendations and information on the consultation process can be obtained from gillian@williamsonconsulting.co.uk.
A full copy of the review and the executive summary are available on the YCNI website, under the "funding" section, "funding policy" page. We would be delighted if you could join us for one or more of the consultation sessions where you will have an opportunity to comment on the implementation of funding changes.
