European cultural cooperation seminars

These EUCLID seminars will highlight not only current and future EU funding opportunities but also ways in which cultural organisations can build partnerships, access other European sources of funding and deal with the challenges of EU rules and regulations. This seminar will take place at Belfast City Council (The Cecil Ward Building, Linenhall Street) on Thursday 27th October.

These seminars aim to provide an overview of the available opportunities and general tips and guidance.

This half day seminar will highlight not only current and future EU funding opportunities but also ways in which cultural organisations can build partnerships, access other European sources of funding and deal with the challenges of EU rules and regulations.

These seminars will specifically cover:

  • A brief overview of the EU and other key European organisations (30 mins)
  • A summary of EU funding opportunities, including advance information on the new funding programmes from 2007 (45 mins)
  • A summary of non-EU opportunities, including European trusts and foundations (15 mins)
  • Key requirements for EU programmes and tips for preparing your proposal (30 mins)
  • Tips for building partnerships, including opportunities for networking in Europe (30 mins)
  • Discussion of ideas or proposed projects being developed by seminar participants (30 mins) – participants will be invited to submit outlines in advance

CulturEuro will run from 13:30 – 16:45 and all participants will receive a full information pack with notes on the presentations and extensive contact details. The cost to attend is £70 + VAT.
