Southern Investing for Health: Suicide Prevention

The Southern Investing for Health Partnership (SIHP) has opened a small grants programme with the aim to address the Protect Life NI Suicide Prevention Strategy

The Southern Investing for Health Partnership (SIHP) in conjuction with Southern Health and Social Services Board (SHSSB) has opened a small grants programme to support community groups working in the five district council areas of Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Dungannon and South Tyrone, and Newry & Mourne to address the Protect Life NI Suicide Prevention Strategy. The aim of the strategy is to reduce the suicide rate in Northern Ireland.

The Programme is open to individual community groups who can apply for a maximum of £1,000 or to a cluster of 3 community groups who together can apply for a maximum of £3,000.

Application forms are available to download from the SIHP website: www.southernifh.com or from the SIHP office.

Applications should be submitted by 4.00pm on Monday 12 November 2007.
