youth@clc, the Children's Law Centre's youth advisory panel, are currently undertaking a new and very important children’s right project, which will highlight the experiences of the very many young people who work in Northern Ireland.
In response to the lack of information on young people who work and discrimination issues experienced by young people in employment, youth@clc have developed a survey which seeks to begin the process of clarifying :
We would like as many young people aged 11 – 17 years, both those who work and those who do not work, to complete the survey. We intend to analyse the results of the survey and produce a report, which we will use to highlight issues of concern in respect of the employment of young people with government.
We need help in this important work. We are asking those who work with young people to encourage them to visit the Children's Law Centre website and:
