Derry City Grant Aid programme 2007/2008.
The programme supports the Corporate Plan adopted by Derry City Council in 2002 and will contribute to the Councils overall aim of "improving the quality of life in our district region". The Grant Aid process supports the concepts of transparency, equity and accountability and, with your ideas, will deliver a funding programme that builds upon the skills and innovative resources that are available in our local community.
Mayor, Cllr Helen Quigley comments on the scheme: I would encourage all organisations to avail of this funding and I look forward to this years grant aid programme making a substantial and worthwhile commitment to enhancing our community.
Funding under the Main Grant scheme would normally range between £1,000 and £5,000 per programme. Calls for applications will occur once per annum.
Applicants can only be awarded funding under one of the available funds i.e. Main Grant Aid or Support Grant Aid.
Main Grants deadline: Friday 13 October 2006 (3pm)
Support Grant Aid is a rolling programme available throughout the year subject to available funds up to 31 October 2007.
