This updated advice note provides advice and information for the Community and Voluntary Sector of the workings of the Interreg IVA Programme IVA.

The INTERREG IVA Programme is the Cross-Border Territorial Cooperation Programme for Northern Ireland, the Border Region and Western Scotland.

In total €256 million will be available from 2007 - 2013. A more strategic approach has been adopted regarding the application process which is quite similar in nature to the Peace III Programme.

The overall aim of the INTERREG IVA Programme is to:

‘Support strategic cross-border co-operation for a more prosperous and sustainable region.’

The attached advice note contains details on the structure and delivery of the programme and the implications this will have on the Community and Voluntary Sector.
