Tyrone Businesses Urged to Join Hospice 500 Club

Businesses in Tyrone are being reminded to join the Southern Area Hospice Services 500 Club. The Club which has been signing up members in the area since March aims to get £100 donation from 500 businesses in the region to raise vitally needed funds for Southern Area Hospice Services (SAHS).

REMINDER TO BUSINESSES IN TYRONE- JOIN THE HOSPICE 500 CLUB

Businesses in the Tyrone area are being urged to give their support to the Hospice 500 Club. The Club which has been signing up members in the area since March aims to get £100 donation from 500 businesses in the region to raise vitally needed funds for Southern Area Hospice Services (SAHS).

Currently SAHS run an Out-Patient Clinic at South Tyrone Hospital. They also have a Hospice Shop in Dungannon and offer a full range of services to improve the quality of life of people affected by cancer and other terminal illnesses in the Southern Board Area while giving support to their family and carers.

Local sports stars Tyrone Howe, Ireland and Ulster Rugby star and Sean Cavanagh, Tyrone GAA All-Star have given their support to the campaign in recognition of the work done by SAHS in the region.

A further incentive for joining the Hospice 500 Club is that one lucky member will win a holiday to the value of £1000. SAHS also hope to host a networking event for all members of the Club later in the year.

Frew Business Machines Ltd in Moy has already signed up to the 500 Club,

“We are delighted to be able to support the Southern Area Hospice Services in Tyrone by joining the 500 Club. The fantastic work they do supporting members of our community who are faced with cancer and terminal illness is very evident.

“This is a manageable donation for most companies in the area so we hope that other companies will take this opportunity to support such a worthy cause.”
