Are you a volunteer? Do you work in the voluntary field? Do you have an interest in volunteering?
The Volunteer Development Agency is the lead organisation for promoting and developing volunteering throughout Northern Ireland. We are looking for organisations and individuals to join with us to become a stronger voice for volunteering.
We are now offering membership free of charge as we want to enable and encourage the widest number and range of organisations to inform and be informed about all aspects of promoting, supporting and developing volunteer involvement.
Membership is open to all organisations and individuals with an interest in volunteering. By becoming a member you add your voice to support volunteering. To become a member we ask that your organisation values the contribution of volunteers and supports the Agency’s Principles of Membership.
Wendy Osborne OBE, Director Volunteer Development Agency said,
“Now is the time when the voice of volunteering needs to be clearly heard to articulate the issues and raise them with policy makers at all levels as well as across wider society.
Now more than ever we are faced with challenges, many organisations are struggling to find sufficient volunteers and people are busier than ever before. By working together we are a stronger voice for volunteering and I look forward to welcoming new members to the Agency.”
