B&Q will re-open its You Can Do it Awards for 2007 in January with a closing date announced for 30 March 2007.
The B&Q 'You Can Do It' Awards form one element of the company's long established community programme.
The awards aim to play a key part in helping local communities create inclusive and sustainable projects to be proud of; for example giving new life to a community centre, local sports club facilities or community garden.
The B&Q 'You Can Do It' Awards are launched every January, and 20 awards worth £5,000 of B&Q products are donated to community and charitable organisations across the UK and Ireland.
The 2007 Awards are open to applications between Monday 29 January and Friday 30 March 2007. Application forms will be available to download from their website during this time, or by telephoning the 24 hour application line on 0845 300 1001 (please note that this number is not available to take calls outside of this period).
In 2006 B&Q awarded a total of £100,000 in B&Q products to 21 community projects across the UK and Ireland.
