Questions to the Minister and Deputy First Minister

South Belfast MLA Jimmy Spratt will ask for the number of times a cross-community vote has been triggered at meetings of the Executive.

David Hilditch (East Antrim) will ask if the Executive has considered the Capital Realisation Taskforce Report.

West Tyrone MLA Barry McElduff will ask if emergency financial support will be provided to the Northern Ireland Anti-Poverty Network.

Pat Ramsey (Foyle) will ask the Ministers to detail the programmes funded by the A Shared Future Report and Racial Equality Strategy in 2007-2008, and the outputs.

Upper Bann MLA Stephen Moutray will ask what measures have been put in place to ensure the delivery of targets for each department in the Programme for Government.

Roy Beggs (East Antrim) will ask what policies are in place to provide support and assistance to young people leaving care.

North Down MLA Alex Easton will ask if the Executive unanimously approved the Programme for Government, Budget and Investment Strategy.

David Simpson (Upper Bann) will ask how communities which are under-represented in community relations core and project funding awards are monitored.

Questions to the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development

West Tyrone MLA Barry McElduff will ask the Minister to detail her department’s remit for helping to regenerate rural villages and towns.

Kieran McCarthy (Strangford) will ask the Minister how her department will use the development of energy generation from biomass energy to create jobs.

Mid-Ulster MLA Francie Molloy will ask for an update on having Local Action Groups as part of the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013.

Claire McGill (West Tyrone) will ask for details of the Minister’s department’s efforts to secure retention of rural post offices.

Foyle MLA Martin Anderson will ask the Minister to outline the funding allocations for the ‘council clusters’ based on deprivation.

Questions to the Minister of Culture, Arts and Leisure

North Antrim MLA Declan O’Loan will ask the Minister what support is available to sub-regional creative clusters in the community and voluntary sector.

Stephen Moutray (Upper Bann) will ask what take-up there has been by local councils of funding for community festivals.

East Londonderry MLA Francie Brolly will ask the Minister when his department will publish a strategy to promote and enhance the Irish language.
