Pierogi, chilli or champ!

Accompanying a photographic exhibition by a young Polish artist, Ormeau Baths Gallery is hosting an evening of international cuisine ... you won't get in without a wok (or something)

‘My Friends, Immigrants’ is an exhibition of work by a young Polish photographer, Marcin Wilkowski. This is a compelling photographic exhibition which features portraits of people who have migrated to Belfast. It runs from 9-18 July at Ormeau Baths Gallery.

The series was started due to the artist’s wish to record and remember the individuals he has become aquainted with in Northern Ireland. Photographing people in natural light, often in their homes, makes the photographs feel like a more intimate glimpse into their lives.

The photographs represent a link between the city of Belfast and the people who have only just begun to call it home.

International Banquet

To accompany ‘My Friends, Immigrants’, Ormeau Baths Gallery is hosting an International Banquet on Thursday 17 July, from 7-9pm
