Childminding Development Officer
South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust

25 hours per week on a flexible basis to include evenings and occasional weekends

Salary: NJC Pt. 23 £19,463 pro rata (pay award pending)

Fixed Term contract to 31 March 2009

Funded by the Eastern Childcare Partnership

The successful applicant will be engaged in improving and enhancing the quality of Childminding provision, supporting an increase in the number of Childminders and supporting currently registered Childminders.

Essential requirements are a qualification and experience in Early Years, along with an understanding of childminding practice and the ability to work on own initiative. The post is home based and requires transport in order to meet the needs of the job.

Closing date for applications is Monday 2 June 2008 at 4.00pm

Interviews will be held in NICMA Offices, Newtownards on Wednesday 11 June 2008
