The Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health is a registered charity concerned with the promotion of mental health and the provision of mental health services throughout Northern Ireland.

Applications are invited for the following post in Clarendon Street Beacon Centre, 20 Clarendon Street, Derry.

Project Worker - 18 Hours
Ref: AMH/PW/08/22
Salary Range: £7,000 - £9,276
Based at Clarendon Street Beacon Centre

The Project Worker will have excellent communication skills, proven experience in motivating and supporting users of mental health services. They will have the ability to promote the core values of NIAMH.

Essential Criteria will include:

  • Educated NVQ level 2 or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a caring capacity
  • Evidence experience and/or knowledge of group work skills
  • Experience of work described in the job description

Applicants will be expected to work flexibly on a shift basis which will include weekend work.

Applicants who can demonstrate one year or more mental health experience will start on the second point of the scale i.e. £7,252.
