To provide assistance to the Director of Business Development in the running and development of the Social Economy projects within East Belfast Mission, and to assume responsibility for the projects in the Director's absence - currently this includes the management of five re:store shops and our Mission Café.

Essential Criteria

  • A minimum of 3 years management of a multi-based team in a charity retail and/or social enterprise environment
  • Experience developing staff
  • Teamwork and team leadership experience
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing achievable plans
  • Experience of successfully working within a multitasking environment
  • Proven experience of successfully communicating within a multi-based environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and E-mail)
  • Full current driving licence and access to a car (this criteria will be waived in the case of an applicant whose disability prohibits driving but who is able to arrange suitable alternative arrangements).

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of delivering training
  • Experience of managing volunteers
